Rio Hondo held its Club Rush event this past Tuesday and Wednesday, providing clubs the chance to get new members on board. It was not all business, though. Power 106 stopped by both days, from 11 am to 2 pm, with DJ Vital to add a soundtrack to Club Rush.
Tents filled Rio’s lower quad on Tuesday and Wednesday as the clubs set up their booths. Every program, from the French Club to Alpha Gamma Sigma, had representatives out. Clubs focused on recruiting new members on Tuesday, providing information and answering questions for interested students.
Wednesday was a bit more festive. Clubs were able to sell items in an effort to raise money for their programs.
Hot Cheetos with cheese, nachos, pizza, lemonade; there were plenty of goods available for purchase at Club Rush on Wednesday. There was also a photo booth and a jumper with a slide to add some fun to the event.
